Backlighting

I have a love for backlit pictures and I can never get them just right. So I've been practicing quite a bit. Here are two I took outside in the snow on a rare sunny day. I learned snow works great when doing backlight form a flickr member. Snow serves as a natural reflector, popping light back in the face. I love learning new things...     They are gorgeous. Funny, this is something on my list of things to learn properly. I love backlit images but my daughter has blonde hair and it keeps blowing out!! You have inspired me to give it a go.

    Yes, I bet blonde hair and backlighting can be quite challenging. I'm sure, as with all your pictures, you'll do great : )
