Last Days of Summer: 365 day 183

We had an amazing weekend weather-wise so we spent both Saturday & Sunday on our boat. Sadly we'll probably take the boat out of the water today and put it into storage for the winter.
Pictures taken on my iPhone with the instagram app which is, hands down, my absolute favorite photo app.Last days of summerA view of Portage Lake Lift Bridge from our boat...

Banana Fritters: 365 day 181

While my mom was here she taught Omi how to make banana fritters so this morning she decided to make some for Devin and me. She did everything herself which was so fun to watch. They were so extremely delicious.

52 Weeks of BAM: Week 2

Joined a group on Flickr called 52 Weeks of BAM to help me get more comfortable & confident taking my own picture. Their motto: A self portrait, taken every week...of you-for you-and by you!
It may be uncomfortable, it may be weird, it may make you cry, but step out from behind the camera and start snapping yourself! Own it! Love it! Embrace it! Let your bamtastic self shine :)

This Is My Wish For You: 365 day 174

Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life
~Anonymous
**On a side note, it's not Ugg weather just yet but it is starting to get a little chilly & crisp around here so we're just getting prepped. We are now wearing the same size shoes so we'll be sharing these Uggs--lol

Soccer Season: 365 day 173

She had her 1st soccer game yesterday and not only did her team (the Golden Eagles) win 8-0 but she scored her 1st goal :)) On a side note, I wish I had taken these pictures on the soccer field--think they would've turned out much better but oh well, another time...
