Yes, there's still snow on the ground but the sun is shining, its warm and we don’t need our big winter coats, which means spring is on its way... I hope!
On a more personal note, she's been growing like a weed. We mesured her yesterday and she's grown 2 inches since the 1st of the year. I realized from looking at my stream I don't have many full body shots so that's my photography goal for the month of April...

Still working on my backlighting. I waited a little closer to golden hour. How did I do? Hopefully I'm getting better at this... it sure isn't easy to master, that's for sure.

Spring break fun!! They decided they didn't want to change out of their pajamas when they went outside to play. Ahhh to be this carefree...

It's spring break for her so she's free free free all this week... can you just feel her joy? And if that wasn't enough, the weather has been really nice today--sunny and in the mid-30's. Yes, believe it or not mid-30's is awesome weather for us in late March ; )

I'm having such a hard time with backlit pictures. Can't seem to get the colors I want... seems so washed out to me. Oh well, just have to keep working on it. Happy Weekend blog friends : )

I rarely indulge my chick-lit guilty pleasure, because when I start reading them, I can’t stop. They’re crazy addictive... And just an FYI, Marian Keyes is my favorite chick-lit author. If you're a chick-lit fan you must read her books :)

Go Away Winter: 365 day 113

Not in the greatest of moods today... it's March 23 and it's snowing, yes snowing, not just light flurries but full on SNOW!! And if that wasn't enough it's grey, dull, cold and extremely gloomy. I am so sick of winter!! I need green grass, flowers, bright skies and some warmer temperatures ASAP!
I went out with my camera to see if I could cheer myslef up and... NOPE everything was dull, duller & dullest so here's my attempt at capturing my mood.

I love reading but I haven't found a good book in quite some time. The last set of books I really enjoyed reading were Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo etc.) So I'm in need of some good reading material... Any recommendations?
